If the rep doesn’t manage your auction correctly, you are then left dealing with an out-of-state company where you are just one of hundreds. While we may utilize our trusted and knowledgeable rep, our entire team is located right here in the heart of North Carolina, and you will only be dealing with us directly.

WE ARE LICENSED  Wester Auction holds a North Carolina Auction Firm License. In addition, our auctioneers are all licensed through the North Carolina Auction Board and hold their own individual licenses. Auctioneers must go through extensive training and certifications to become a licensed auctioneer. Licensed auctioneers are held to high ethical standards by the board. Our auctioneers are also licensed North Carolina Real Estate Agents. Wester Auction is a proud member of the National Auctioneer's Association.

WE HAVE THE EXPERIENCE  With an impressive 70 years of combined experience, you can rest assured that Wester Auction knows how to get the job done. We hold an average of 60 business liquidation auctions each year, Including several residential / commercial real estate auctions. For the past 20 years, the Johnston County Sheriff's Department and The City of Durham have entrusted us with their municipal equipment auctions.

WE TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING   From beginning to end, Wester Auction handles it all. We collect all data and pictures, creating an accurate and complete catalog of assets, then conduct an online auction for approximately 10 days. We run a heavy marketing campaign during this time. This consists of multiple emails sent to our 9,000 email subscribers, a post to our business Facebook page which boasts 9,500 followers and a paid, targeted social media ad campaign. Once the auction is over, we handle invoicing and payment collections, supplying you with a detailed settlement report and check within 7 to 10 business days.
